Join us for a night of celebration at the Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead as we celebrate the 20th Year Anniversary of the Epilepsy Foundation of Georgia Taste of Love Gala. This in-person, black tie event will feature our talented STARS of Yesterday, Today, and the Years to come!

Come glammed up in your HOLLYWOOD BEST and walk the PURPLE carpet (watch out for paparazzi-we may have leaked to the press!), grab a chic cocktail (or two) and meet our STARS on the Walk of Fame! We will gather for an evening focused on celebrating 20 years of Taste of Love, where we come together to support philanthropy and elevating care in our great state of Georgia for individuals and families living with Epilepsy.

SHOWTIME! Come meet and hear from our exciting up and coming STARS making a HUGE DEBUT this year changing lives within and outside of Georgia with their GRAND-SCALE advocacy efforts! COME LEARN how one incredible STAR worked to ensure every public school in Georgia will now be required to have seizure action plans, and STAY to watch our first-ever PREMIER of an INCREDIBLE SHORT FILM aiming to eradicate stigma on a global level with a special appearance by the film's producer!

Have you or anyone you know ever experienced having a seizure, or have you witnessed someone having a seizure? The startling reality is that a seizure can strike ANY of us at ANY time without ANY warning and does not discriminate in ANY way. A seizure is a momentary interruption of an electrical impulse in our brain, and in many cases, can result in a few seconds lost. This is the case, IF and ONLY IF, the person and the people around can administer the proper first aid needed. Without proper education, the results of a seizure can be life threatening.

This is where the Epilepsy Foundation of Georgia (EFGA) steps in. EFGA provides school, public, corporate, medical, and community education throughout Georgia to elevate the understanding of epilepsy and seizure disorders to all Georgians, not just the 110,000 pediatric and adult epilepsy patients in the state. Through live programs, an annual community forum, a robust job placement program, an active website, support groups, literature, and referrals, EFGA serves all of Georgia and works to increase awareness and understanding of epilepsy.
